The Alps and Pyrenees bring some of Europe’s most beautiful mountain terrain, making them a go to place for long trail days. France is also home to one of the most famous ultra marthons called the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) and many other big events troughout the year.

Let’s Run Paris is a welcoming, international running group founded in 2012. The collective began as a small group training for half marathons and marathons and has grown into an open community where runners of all experience levels can train together for distances from 5k to marathons and beyond. Joining is free, and all weekly runs are listed on their Facebook and Meetup pages.
The group meets twice each week. On Saturday mornings they run long distances, leaving at 9 am from the café Le Cercle Luxembourg in the 5th arrondissement. Four pace groups are available at approximately 5:00, 5:30, 6:00 and 7:00 minutes per kilometer. Many runners return to the café afterward for drinks or breakfast.
On Monday evenings LRP meets at 8 pm at Nation, next to the bar Le Triomphe. These sessions are always a 10k route and offer three pace groups at about 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00 minutes per kilometer. Each run includes a posted route and clear instructions through their event pages.
Runners may leave bags at the café or bar at the start locations, and participants are encouraged to bring transportation cards, water and essentials for longer distances. Members often run only part of the route when needed, and pacers ensure everyone knows where to stop or rejoin the group.
